BCSO was excited to be a part of sending Sebastian off in true fashion and admiration

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – I had the pleasure on Friday of joining other members of our agency, members of the Melbourne Police Department, and various family and friends to do a “Law Enforcement Parade” for Sebastian Marzano, a graduating senior at Eau Gallie High School who is joining the United States Navy to serve our country.
While Sebastian is graduating from Eau Gallie High School and worked hard to walk across the stage during his graduation ceremony, he will be unable to attend his graduation because the ceremony was postponed as a result of COVID-19 and Sebastian leaves two days before the graduation for boot camp.
Sebastian’s mom reached out for me a couple of weeks ago and asked could our team do a “Law Enforcement Parade” past their home to show Sebastian how much he is appreciated and loved since he is going to miss his graduation ceremony.
Our agency was excited to be a part of sending Sebastian off in true fashion and admiration for his future service to our country, so Junny and I took part in the parade and got a chance to personally meet Sebastian as he stood along the roadway wearing his cap and gown and a huge smile.
Junny and I presented Sebastian with a Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Gift Bag and wished him well in his future endeavors.
Sebastian was truly humbled and gracious for the efforts of everyone and especially his mom who made certain that her son knows how much he is loved by her, his community, and his Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
Man I love this job!
