BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County has reported 471 (453) cases of COVID-19 as of Tuesday afternoon, according to the Florida Department of Health.
According to the Florida Department of Health, the demographic breakdown of the age of those testing positive ranges from 1 to 94, with the median age being 58 years of age, and 48 percent are male and 52 percent are female.
The current Brevard list includes 460 (442) Florida residents and 11 (11) non-residents.
Brevard COVID-19 cases requiring hospitalization is 71 (66). Thirteen (13) deaths have been reported as a result of COVID-19 in Brevard County.
The Florida Department of Health reports 27,224 (25,712) tests have been administered in Brevard County. According to Tuesday’s report, 26,751 (25,257) of those tests have come back negative.
The Florida Department of Health has reported a total of 66,000 (62,758) confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state out of 1,259,283 (1,050,671) tests done statewide with 11,185 (10,891) hospitalized.
Deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Florida are 2,765 (2,688) as of Tuesday.
In the U.S., 1,973,803 (1,909,077) confirmed cases have been reported and 111,751 (109,497) deaths have been attributed to COVID-19. Global cases reported are 7,185,573 (6,804,044) with 408,954(396,699) global deaths.
