Police Athletic League Spotlight on Success
BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – On behalf of all of us at the Cocoa Police Department and our non-profit, Community First Charity, we would like to congratulate our PAL Seniors who just graduated high school, including Jaylene Barber and Diamond Johnson.
We wish you all the best success in your future and we know you will do great things! Congratulations ladies! Cocoa Police Athletic League
Barber joined PAL when she was 13 years old, and since that time, she has completed Youth Employment Training and Leadership Training and has worked several summers for the Cocoa Housing Authority. Currently, she serves as President of the Cocoa PAL Youth Leadership Council.
A Rockledge High Honor Grad, Barber will attend the University of North Florida. We know this goal-oriented young lady has a bright future ahead.
Since 2016, Johnson has been committed to Cocoa PAL, completing Youth Employment and Leadership Training.
She has served as President of the Youth Leadership Council and most recently was named State of Florida PAL Girl of the Year, for which she received a $1,000 scholarship and a laptop computer.
Johnson is a Rockledge High School Honor Grad and plans to attend Eastern Florida State College. We expect great things from her, and we know she will deliver.
