BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Carla Funk, Executive Director and Chief Curator of University Museums, announce that the Foosaner Art Museum will be reopening June 6 to members and to the general public on June 10.
As a safety precaution, all visitors and staff members will be required to wear a mask while inside the museum, and sanitation stations have been placed throughout the facility.
The museum’s operating hours will remain as normal, Wednesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“Currently on display is our FLAG Exhibition, which has been extended until July 25, 2020,” said Funk.
“Don’t miss your chance to see 94 art pieces created by Florida’s very own, Florida Artist Group! Additionally, in response to our recent temporary closure, all memberships will be extended by three months.”
The Foosaner Art Museum administrative offices are open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“We would also like to take this opportunity to invite you, your friends, and family to attend our Virtual First Friday Concert on Friday, June 5 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.”
The concert will feature talented Eau Gallie Art District musicians from Little Latitudes. Make sure to RSVP to the event by clicking here
