Former Baseball Coach Damien McDermott Speaks on Upcoming USSSA ‘Summer Senior Curtain Call’ Game on June 23

WATCH: Former baseball coach Damien McDermott stopped by the Space Coast Daily– Friday Night Locker Room Mike Erdman Cadillac studios on Merritt Island on Wednesday to share details about the ‘Summer Senior Curtain Call’ game on June 23 at Space Coast Complex in Viera.

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Former baseball coach Damien McDermott stopped by the Space Coast Daily– Friday Night Locker Room Mike Erdman Cadillac studios on Merritt Island on Wednesday to share details about the ‘Summer Senior Curtain Call’ game on June 23 at Space Coast Complex in Viera.

The game is set to begin at 6 p.m. and is free to the public. Players and fans will be asked to practice social distancing during the game.

McDermott teamed up with USSSA to help give Brevard County seniors a chance to display their skill sets for a fun night after their seasons were cut short due to COVID-19.

Senior baseball players who have played for their school baseball program in Brevard County are eligible to play in next Tuesday’s game.

Each player will represent their schools by wearing their practice jerseys.
