Former UCF Standout Pitcher Trevor Holloway Signs Free Agent Deal with New York Yankees

After spending two seasons with the Black and Gold, Trevor Holloway has inked a free agent deal to join the New York Yankees organization. (UCF image)

ORLANDO, FLORIDA – After spending two seasons with the Black and Gold, Trevor Holloway has inked a free agent deal to join the New York Yankees organization.

Holloway posted a 5-1 record over 10 starts in his career at UCF and held a career ERA of 1.64.

At the end of the shortened 2020 campaign, Holloway was sitting top 40 nationally in strikeouts (37) and strikeouts per nine innings (14.69).

Holloway joins Jeff Hakanson as the second Knight to join the professional ranks in 2020 and is the 17th Knight to turn pro during the Greg Lovelady era.
