Your program is medically supervised by me and has been endorsed by the President of the American Academy of Obesity Medicine, Dr. Craig Primack, who is nationally-known and has co-authored the book “Chasing Diets.”

He and his partner currently operate four clinics around the Scottsdale Arizona area. Dr. Primack often collaborates with me on cases and I’m grateful for his expertise and guidance.

While we can all acknowledge that weight loss is important, the real goal is fat loss. Visceral fat has been proven to be a leading cause of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and some cancers.

Dr. Mark Pinsky’s Medical Weight Loss Clinic features customized weight loss programs that meet your lifestyle and your goals. Your program is medically supervised by Dr. Pinsky and has been endorsed by the President of the American Academy of Obesity Medicine, Dr. Craig Primack, who is nationally-known and has co-authored the book “Chasing Diets.”

This program achieves most of its weight loss from the reduction of body fat. Our data shows that at least 75 percent (usually 90-95 percent) of your weight loss will come from fat loss.

That’s phenomenal and no program can make that claim. How do we know this? From the moment you start the program, we obtain measurements on a scale known as an INBODY SCALE.

This extremely accurate scale measures muscle mass, fat mass, total body water, weight and of course your percent body fat.

Seeing is believing, and monitoring these numbers serves as a very positive reinforcement to patients that we are on the right track.

Dr. Mark Pinsky’s Medical Weight Loss Clinic is committed to helping you achieve your goals and teach you very simply how to eat and what your plate should look like. “Our goal is to provide you with the tools that provide lasting results,” said Dr. Pinsky.

There is also an educational component to the program featuring online classes that can be obtained via an app for your phone or with a link for your computer.

These classes are taught by exercise physiologists, psychologists and nutritionalists, and deal with subjects that include grab and go eating, how to eat and travel, and the importance of not skipping meals, just to name a few.

Our research shows that participation in these classes and enhances weight loss by up to 50 percent in some cases.

At Dr. Pinsky’s Medical Weight Loss Clinic, we recognize that some patients need additional help in achieving their weight loss goals and the use of medications as an adjunct to our comprehensive program is sometimes suggested.

The type of medication chosen is based upon the patient’s medical history because some medications may be dangerous for them. Prior to starting our program, all patients receive an EKG as well as a panel of bloodwork to make sure there are no obvious hidden rest factors.

Our goal at Dr. Mark Pinsky’s Medical Weight Loss Clinic is to TRANSFORM YOU BACK TO OPTIMAL HEALTH.
