Titusville Police Arrests Two Suspects After Seizing Multiple Firearms and Drugs from House

Titusville Police have arrested two suspects after a search warrant resulted in the seizure of multiple firearms and drugs from Titusville house, located on the 100 block of Roosevelt Street.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police have arrested two suspects after a search warrant resulted in the seizure of multiple firearms and drugs from Titusville house, located on the 100 block of Roosevelt Street.

One of the suspects arrested was 20-year-old Brantavius Antonio Brown from Titusville. He was charged with Resisting Arrest with Violence and Driving with Knowledge of a Suspended License.

The other suspect arrested was 39-year-old Latasha Lanette Staley from Titusville. She was charged with Felony Child Neglect.

According to the report, police searched the house on Thursday, June 18, at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Detectives received information from concerned citizens who had witnessed drug related activities and violent criminal activities, which involved gunfire outside the house located on the 100 block of Roosevelt Street.

“This agency-wide responsive initiative, headed up by the Special Investigation Section (SIS), resulted in the seizure of a large cache of firearms, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, high capacity firearm magazines and narcotics,” said Public Information Officer Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department.

Police say half of the seized firearms had been previously reported stolen to law enforcement.

Two residents of the nuisance house were arrested.

“This collective effort from police and community members resulted in taking multiple guns and drugs off the streets of our city,” said SIS Sergeant Troy Barbour.

Both suspects were booked into the Brevard County Jail.

This incident remains ongoing investigation by the Titusville Police Department, future charges are pending and further details will be released upon its conclusion.
