Melbourne Police are advising motorists to find an alternate route near US-1 and Babcock St. due to large amounts of standing water in the area.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police are advising motorists to find an alternate route near US-1 and Babcock St. due to large amounts of standing water in the area from storms that have rolled through Melbourne.

The water is causing some issues with power and traffic lights.

If you must travel, use caution, police say.
