Brevard Fire Rescue, Cocoa and Rockledge Fire Departments Team Up to Douse Residential Structure Blaze

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue, with automatic aid from the City of Cocoa Fire Department and Rockledge Fire Department, responded in West Cocoa to the 3600 block of Brophy Boulevard early Thursday morning for a residential structure fire.

Brevard County Fire Rescue officials said that when the units arrived, they were met with heavy fire in the carport which had extended into the attic.

The circumstances of the blaze have not been released and no injuries were reported.

“Crews quickly extinguished the fire, however, had extensive mop up and overhaul,” said BCFR officials. “Thank you Cocoa Fire Rescue for the assist”
