BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The City of Melbourne is allowing Waste Management to temporarily start a residential collection at 6 a.m, beginning Monday, July 13.

Service days will not change.

Please place your carts for garbage, recycling, and yard waste curbside prior to 6 a.m. on your regular service days.

The earlier start time will give Waste Management trucks more time to collect and transport the higher-than-normal curbside volumes of trash, recycling, and yard waste that have been generated since the COVID-19 emergency began.

If your garbage or recycling is not collected on your designated service day, please leave your carts curbside for service first thing the following morning.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
