BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County prep football player Cedrick Hawkins has been named to Max Preps’ 2020 Preseason Sophomore High School All-American Football Team:
LB — Justin Benton, Newton (Covington, Ga.) | 6-3 | 245
Racked up 76 tackles and nine sacks as a freshman playing in Georgia’s largest classification.
LB – Leviticus Su’a, Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) | 6-1 | 210
The Monarchs have had some big-time linebackers come through their program and Su’a has the talent to be the next great one.
DB — Rahmir Stewart, Imhotep Charter (Philadelphia) | 5-10 | 185
Flies around on defense and is one of the hardest-hitting safeties in the country.
DB — Cedrick Hawkins, Cocoa (Fla.) | 5-11 | 165
The talented defensive back finished his freshman season with 63 tackles and five interceptions.
DB — Caleb Downs, Mill Creek (Hoschton, Ga.) | 5-11 | 180
Was an impact player as a freshman playing in the state’s largest classification. Finished the year with 52 tackles and five interceptions.
