BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – At Health First, Brevard’s largest healthcare provider’s number one goal is putting the patient first – listening to your healthcare needs, helping you to understand them, and providing the convenience you deserve.

For years, Health First has maintained and performed in a high-level, customer-care environment without fail, especially during COVID-19.

“The effects of COVID-19 have had unexpected impacts to hospital systems and physicians’ offices, causing them to re-evaluate the customer care experience,” said Health First officials.

“As a result, Health First is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Phreesia, a product that has modernized our patient registration process. Phreesia offers patients a way to minimize contact before their appointment by allowing them to wait in their car until they receive a text to go into the office, or check-in faster and easier on their own mobile device once they enter.”

This process is also a way for providers to maximize the management of their waiting rooms to allow for optimal social distancing, keeping patients safer.

Phreesia also offers patients

■ 30% faster check-in when they use their own mobile device
■ Increased convenience by allowing them to check in anywhere they have access to a smartphone, tablet or computer
■ Waiting in their vehicle until they receive a message on their mobile device telling them it’s time for their appointment
■ The ability to make payments prior to their appointment

This new customer-centric partnership will allow Health First to better help our patients, as well as really understand them and how to improve their overall healthcare experience.

Two physician offices are the first within Health First Medical Group to go live with Phreesia.

The key service features available upon go-live include:

■ Virtual check-in so patients can wait in the privacy of their own vehicle until they’re called
■ Digital consent forms
■ Copay and balance collections
■ Establishment of payment plans

Preparations are already underway to extend Phreesia across all Health First Medical Group offices in a phased approach.

Health First continues to strive every day in this journey to becoming more customer-centric in all aspects – to go above and beyond to meet your wellness and health needs.
