The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Central Brevard County in east-central Florida until 4:30 p.m. EDT. At 3:57 p.m. EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Rockledge, moving east at 5 mph. Locations impacted include Rockledge, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral and Merritt Island.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Central Brevard County in east-central Florida until 4:30 p.m. EDT.

At 3:57 p.m. EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Rockledge, moving east at 5 mph.
