Palm Bay Man Charged with Second-Degree Murder for 2019 Death of Bobby Knight Jr.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Police have arrested a 36-year-old man for Second-Degree Murder in the shooting death of  Bobby Knight Jr. on November 5, 2019.

The suspect is identified as Larry Eugene Bell Jr.

The investigation began when police responded to 911 calls regarding shots fired near 2041 Agora Cr. in Palm Bay.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found 61-year-old Bobby Knight Jr. dead inside his car with multiple gunshot wounds

Bell has been charged with Second Degree Murder, Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Bell, who was already being held at the Brevard County Jail on unrelated charges, was presented with the new charges today.
