BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – What an amazing “Back The Blue” event that took place Sundy at Kiwanis Island Park where hundreds of citizens turned out to show just how much they truly love their Law Enforcement Officers.

I would like to personally thank the amazing organizers of the event for working so hard to make the event such a success and also the many businesses that sponsored the event as a show of support for the men and women who stand guard at the door each and every day to keep evil away.

While Junny and I had a blast in the “Beat The Bucket” dunk tank, it was also great to see so many members of our community enjoying great food, great music, and standing together as a community to say “we love our protectors.”

I would like to personally thank Jenn Parrish, Kim Tucker, Tina Herman and Stephanie Moretto for organizing this incredible event for our agencies and community.

As I always say, “It Takes A Community To Protect A Community” and today’s event was just another perfect example of our community working together to support Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, EMS & Dispatch workers throughout the county.

Thank you Brevard County for making this the best place in America to serve as a Law Enforcement Officer and Fire/Rescue Team Member.
