BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Space Coast Daily’s TGIF Show is back for another week, the only show on the Space Coast that highlights upcoming events and entertainment for the weekend and upcoming week.

Space Coast Daily host Giles Malone welcomes in guests Jennifer Perini from the Brevard Cultural Alliance and Space Coast Symphony Orchestra’s Aaron Collins into the Space Coast Daily/FNLR and Mike Erdman Cadillac Studio in Merritt Island.

This week, a number of shows kickoff off the weekend highlighted by Titusville Playhouse’s debut of ‘Titanic The Musical’. The sinking of the Titanic in the early hours of April 15, 1912, remains the quintessential disaster of the twentieth century. A total of 1,517 souls—men, women and children—lost their lives (only 711 survived).

The fact that the finest, largest, strongest ship in the world—called, in fact, the “unsinkable” ship—should have been lost during its maiden voyage is so incredible that, had it not actually happened, no author would have dared to contrive it. The musical TITANIC examines the causes, the conditions and the characters involved in this ever-fascinating drama. This is the factual story of that ship—of her officers, crew and passengers, to be sure—but she will not, as has happened so many times before, serve as merely the background against which fictional, melodramatic narratives are recounted. The central character of our TITANIC is the Titanic herself.

Space Coast Symphony Orchestra returns this weekend for the ‘On Broadway’ performance that salutes health care workers and first responders with a concert of Broadway’s best.

The Space Coast Symphony Orchestra will be performing three drive-in concerts this summer to celebrate the strength and resilience of the community.

Saturday will kickoff off the beginning of the three drive-in concerts on the Space Coast.

All of the summer concerts in this special Space Coast Strong series will be held in beautiful outdoor settings, to provide for healthful air flow and adequate room for social distancing.

Attendees can remain in their vehicles or bring their own seating to each fresh air concert, as we honor a segment of our community that has sacrificed in some way to keep our American spirit strong.

The Avenue Viera
