According to Brevard County Rescue officials, after some minor extrication, the patient was transported as a trauma alert to a local trauma center for treatment. BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue crews responded to a traffic incident involving a box truck that crashed into a utility pole on South Highway 1 and Compass Drive in North Melbourne on Saturday about 2:30 p.m.
