UCF Basketball Lands Orlando Native 5-Star Recruit CJ Walker Who Will Transfer From Oregon

(24/7 SPORTS) – Johnny Dawkins has done it again. Oregon forward CJ Walker announced on Monday that he will be transferring from Oregon to UCF.

The 6-foot-8, 200-pound former five-star prospect announced his intentions to transfer from the Ducks program last Wednesday.

Walker averaged 4.0 points and 2.5 rebounds in 14.9 minutes per game as a freshman in Eugene. Walker appeared in 28 games making seven starts his freshman season.

As a 2019 recruit out of Orlando (Fla.) Oak Ridge, Walker was the 28th rated prospect in the country according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings. Walker chose Oregon over finalists LSU and Miami.
