Brevard County Sheriff’s Office said Butler’s case is progressing and considers the case open and active

(WFTV ) – Thursday marked two years since the murder of a Titusville man, and his family is still waiting for an arrest.

“We need help. We need this case solved, somebody arrested,” said Brenda Mayor, Butler’s aunt.

Two years ago, Tony Butler’s body was discovered in a burning vehicle in a wooded area on Bethune Avenue in Mims.

Butler’s death was ruled a homicide but no one has been arrested for the crime.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office said Butler’s case is progressing. The agency considers the case open and active.
