BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service in Melbourne forecast on Wednesday calls for a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m. Partly sunny skies, with a high near 91. Calm wind becoming east southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.

The forecast also calls for new rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

On Wednesday night, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73. South southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 92. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 74. South southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 92. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming east southeast in the afternoon.
