BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Small businesses in need of Personal Protection Equipment will be able to collect free supplies Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Brevard County Government PPE distribution warehouse at 7740 Technology Drive in West Melbourne.

Personal Protection Equipment can also be obtained during a distribution event planned by Brevard County Government from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, at the Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Library, 308 Forrest Avenue, in Cocoa.

No applications are required, and businesses will not be required to show a business license to receive a PPE kit. Each kit contains 200 procedure masks, 25 reusable cloth masks, 2 boxes of gloves, and 2 bottles of hand sanitizer.

Earlier this month, nearly 500 small businesses that applied for County-issued PPE kits received a total of 935 PPE kits. The County still has more than 1,000 kits available for distribution.

The County has opted to reach out to other small businesses that may not have been aware of the program or missed the application deadline and to make the additional kits available.
