BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Dermatologist Megan Cronin, MD, has joined her proud grandfather, Terrence A. Cronin, Sr., MD, and her equally proud uncle, Terrence A. Cronin, Jr., MD, in practice at the Cronin Skin Cancer Center which has been providing cutting-edge skin cancer diagnosis and treatment to our community since 1972.

Originally from Indialantic, Dr. Cronin graduated from Melbourne High School and earned her Bachelor of Science from Florida Tech distinguishing herself as the class valedictorian.

She pursued her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine and was honored with induction into the prestigious Gold Humanism honor society.

She spent her fourth year externships at the University of Miami Department of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery and Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Dermatology.

She completed her internship at the University of Florida-Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida, and dermatology residency training at the University of Miami Frost Department of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, where she trained with world-renowned experts in the fields of dermatology, skin cancer care, and Mohs surgery.

In her senior year at Jackson Memorial Hospital, she was selected to be chief resident and was the recipient of the “Best Surgeon Award.”

She notably competed against more than 400 American dermatology residents to win the national scholarship to attend the annual Winter Clinical Meeting in Hawaii in 2019.
