Plans to reopen Monday, August 3

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex announced on Saturday that they will be closed Sunday, August 2.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex announced on Saturday that they will be closed Sunday, August 2.

Based on the current forecast, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex anticipates reopening on Monday, August 3.

During this closure, visitors will not be permitted onto visitor complex grounds.

Among other closures in the area, Port Canaveral announced on Friday that Jetty Park and the Exploration Tower will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.

All camping guests at Jetty Park were forced to vacate by Saturday at 12 p.m.

There will be no access to the beach or fishing pier during this time.
