Palm Bay City Council’s Rental and Utility Payment Assistance Available for Qualified Residents

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – On August 6, 2020, Palm Bay City Council voted to accept an additional allocation of $342,255 in Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding to assist qualified residents with rent and utility payment assistance.
The last day to submit an application for funding assistance is Friday, August 28, 2020.
Eligible residents must submit a complete application and provide proof of financial hardship due to COVID-19. Qualified applicants will be served on a first-come, first eligible basis until all funds are expended.
Applications are available online at www.palmbayflorida.org/housing.
Paper applications will be available at the following locations:
▪ Palm Bay City Hall – 120 Malabar Road SE
▪ Evans Center – 1363 Florida Avenue NE
▪ Franklin T. Degroodt Public Library – 6475 Minton Road SE
▪ Palm Bay Public Library – 1520 Port Malabar Boulevard NE
All funding must be expended by December 30, 2020 and will be administered by the City of Palm Bay’s Housing & Community Development Division.
Applications and documentation can be sent be email to HCDinfo@palmbayflorida.org or mailed/hand-delivered to the Housing & Community Development Division office located at Palm Bay City Hall, 120 Malabar Road SE.
