Titusville Police Investigating Shooting of Man Struck by Two Bullets While Walking on South DeLeon Avenue

Victim was struck by at least two bullets from an unknown source

Titusville police detectives are investigating the shooting of a man who was shot multiple times on Monday morning at about 9:40 p.m. According to Titusville police spokesperson Amy Matthews, officers were flagged down for assistance by a motorist traveling southbound on South Deleon Avenue, who was in the process of transporting a shooting victim to a local hospital.

TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville police detectives are investigating the shooting of a man who was shot multiple times on Monday morning at about 9:40 p.m.

According to Titusville police spokesperson Amy Matthews, officers were flagged down for assistance by a motorist traveling southbound on South Deleon Avenue, who was in the process of transporting a shooting victim to a local hospital.

“The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was walking northbound on South DeLeon Avenue, near the intersection of Gilbert Street, when he was struck by at least two bullets from an unknown source,” said Matthews.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
