BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA –  The National Weather Service in Melbourne forecast on Monday calls for showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 11 a.m. Mostly sunny skies, with a high near 93.

The forecast also calls for calm wind becoming west southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. The chance of precipitation is 70%.

New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

On Monday night, there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 76. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Tuesday: Showers and thunderstorms after 11 a.m. High near 93. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
