BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – National Hurricane Center has upgraded the chances of disturbance located a few hundred miles west of the Cabo Verde Islands to 90-percent in five days and 60-percent in two days.

The first disturbance also has a 60-percent chance at developing into a tropical depression by late Sunday or early Monday.

Experts are also keeping an eye on another tropical wave (disturbance 3) developing over the Africa inland and has 80-percent chance at developing into a tropical depression in the next five days.

The next named storm will be called ‘Paulette’.

Hurricane season ends on November 30.
