(CBS) — FAU Football is slated to open the season against Georgia Southern this week, a team that played without 33 players last week after a COVID-19 outbreak.

As of Tuesday, FAU could be in a similar situation.

Florida Atlantic Athletics confirmed on Tuesday that practice was canceled in Boca Raton after a number of Owls players tested positive for COVID-19.
