(PALM BAY POLICE) – It is with great sadness that we report the loss of a very special member of the Palm Bay Police Department family as retired K-9 Sheba was laid to rest on 9/11/20.

Sheba joined the department in 2012 and worked alongside her partner, Officer West until she retired in 2018.

Sheba, an incredible Dutch Shepherd, worked patrol with her handler for 6 years and was primarily used for drug detection, tracking and apprehending criminals.

During her time with the Palm Bay Police Department, K-9 Sheba was involved in numerous calls that resulted in the capture of many criminals and the prevention of any additional crimes. (PBPD image)
