ORLANDO, FLORIDA (UCF Knights) – College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) announced its 2020 preseason watch list for the CFPA National Performer of the Year Trophy and UCF’s Dillon Gabriel was one of just 30 players in the nation selected.

Gabriel started the final 12 games of his true freshman season in 2019, setting a UCF freshman record for passing yards in a season.

He led a Knights offense that ranked second in the nation in total offense with 540.5 yards per game and threw 29 passing touchdowns.

The Mililani, Hawaii native comes into 2020 having also been named to the Davey O’Brien Award, Maxwell Award and Manning Award preseason watch lists.
