ROCKLEDGE FIRE REPORTS ONE DEAD IN BLAZE

The Rockledge Fire Department, with assistance from Brevard County Fire Rescue and Cocoa Fire Department responded to a residential fire on Avondale Road Sunday night. According to Brevard County Fire Rescue, crews reported had to deal with an entrapment, but no injuries were reported. BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Rockledge Fire Department, with assistance from Brevard County Fire Rescue and the Cocoa Fire Department, responded to a deadly residential fire on Avondale Road Sunday night.

According to Brevard County Fire Rescue, crews had to deal with an entrapment, and according to the Rockledge Fire Department, one person was killed in the blaze.

The home was seriously damaged and the cause of the fire and the victim’s identity have not yet been released.

This incident is under investigation.
