BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – In the latest edition of ‘Ride Shotgun,’ Sheriff Wayne Ivey rides shotgun with Deputy Justin Adams in the of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Adams patrols the Cape Canaveral Precinct of Brevard County and always knew he wanted to get into law enforcement.

“When I was younger, I always knew what I wanted to do and I took my time getting there, doing a little security, but once I turned 22 I joined the academy and put myself through it,” said Deputy Adams.

“I love coming out here and doing something new everyday.”

“We’ve got a lot of regulars, but since we’re in Cape Canaveral we get to meet new people from all around the world all the time.”

Despite Deputy Adams looking like he could play a younger Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey in a movie, there is no blood relation between the two.
