BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The West Melbourne Police Department has released a new video giving its citizens some helpful tips and reminders as Brevard-area students head back into the classroom this fall.
According to West Melbourne Police Department Motor Officer Joshua Kennedy, speeding in a school zone is “one of the major issues that go on everywhere in a city.”
Texting while driving in a school zone is another popular issue Officer Kennedy sees too often.
