BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa High School Athlete Davis Mallinger has flipped his commitment to West Virginia, adding to the Mountaineers’ 2021 recruiting class.
Davis is listed at 6-foot-1, 176 pounds, and is rated a three-star recruit by both 247Sports and rivals.
Mallinger is from Cocoa, Florida, and plays at Cocoa High School.
Mallinger’s recruiting picked up recently as Mallinger picked up offers from WVU, UCF, Mississippi, South Carolina, Rutgers and Illinois.
He also holds FBS offers from Florida International and Toledo.
The Cocoa Tigers have been dominant during the first two weeks of the 2020 football season, going 2-0 after shutting out both Palm Bay and Heritage.
