BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Both Eastern Florida State College head basketball coaches have been selected to participate in the inaugural TopConnect NJCAA symposium set for next Thursday and Friday.

Men’s basketball coach Jeremy Shulman and women’s basketball coach MJ Baker are among the inaugural class of 30 men’s basketball coaches and 11 women’s basketball coaches that will participate in the event, which will have three panels of current Division 1 head coaches talking about their experiences on maintaining the success, making the jump to D1 from junior college and overall career development.

Also, President and CEO of the NJCAA, Dr. Chris Parker and Brandon Goble, CEO of JUCOAdvocate, will hold a conversation on breaking the stigma of junior college.

“I am incredibly honored to be selected as one of the coaches for the inaugural TopConnect NJCAA Symposium,” Shulman said.

“There are so many outstanding coaches all across the country, so I am very fortunate to be selected amongst so many other great names. This is a true testament to the incredible players I have coached in my 10+ years here at Eastern Florida, and to the incredible assistant coaches I have had over that span.”

“I am truly humbled about being chosen by Top Connect with the opportunity of learning and connecting with some of the Top Coaches in the country,” Baker said.
