BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s golf team is in fourth place after the first round of the Flagler Fall Slam at Marsh Creek Country Club in St. Augustine.

The Titans shot a 322 and are five strokes behind Anderson University in South Carolina.

“It is a tough course with plenty of bounce to the greens. We need to cut down on the big numbers but had some good play in a lot of areas and feel we can bring the scoring down,” Eastern Florida State College women’s golf coach Jamie Howell said.

“Delia and Kira had solid rounds today.”

Seminole State College is leading the event after shooting a 297 in the first round.

The Titans will tee off at 8:45 a.m. in the final round of the event.
