Eau Gallie's next game is October 30 vs Cocoa

School officials have made the decision to cancel this week’s Eau Gallie at Rockledge football game due to a COVID-19 outbreak at Eau Gallie High School last week.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – School officials have made the decision to cancel this week’s Eau Gallie at Rockledge football game due to a COVID-19 outbreak at Eau Gallie High School last week.

There is no current plan to reschedule the game at this time.

Eau Gallie (3-0) has looked impressive early in the season and is currently tied for first place in Division 1, alongside Rockledge, Viera and Cocoa. The decision comes on the heels when the Eau Gallie High School campus was closed to students last week as a result of COVID-19 cases.

To prevent further spread of the virus, the closure started on Friday and will run through October 25, according to Brevard Public Schools.

Rockledge Raiders (4-0) next game is set for October 30 when they host the Viera Hawks (3-0) at McLarty Stadium.

Eau Gallie Commodores next game is slated for October 30 at home vs. Cocoa Tigers.
