SpaceX is scheduled to launch Starlink 12 from Kennedy Space Center on Thursday, October 1 at 9:17 a.m. EDT.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – SpaceX is scheduled to launch Starlink 12 from Kennedy Space Center on Thursday, October 1 at 9:17 a.m. EDT.

The mission payload will carry 60 satellites for SpaceX’s Starlink broadband network, Starlink 12.

The goal of Starlink is to create a network that will help provide internet services to those who are not yet connected, and to provide reliable and affordable internet across the globe.

Following first-stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to recover the main booster engine on drone ship ‘Of Course, I Still Love You’ stationed in the Atlantic ocean.
