Astronaut High Boys Bowling Team Crowned FHSAA State Champion, Rockledge Girls Finish State Runner Up

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Astronaut High School’s boy’s bowling team won the Florida High School Athletic Association state championship on Thursday in Orlando, defeating Daytona Beach Mainland in the process.

The War Eagles won 3-0 and then 3-1 to win the state championship over Mainland.

Last year’s team finished with the first undefeated season in Astronaut High School history with a 16-0 regular-season record.

The Rockledge Raiders girls bowling team also had a great year, as the Raiders finished as 2020 FHSAA State Runner ups for the second straight year.
