Cocoa High School Football Team Reports Majority of Sideline Equipment Stolen From School Locker Room

The Cocoa High School football team reported to police this weekend that a majority of their sideline equipment was stolen from their locker room. The incident is currently being investigated by the Cocoa Police Department. BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Cocoa High School football team reported to police this weekend that a majority of their sideline equipment was stolen from their locker room.

The incident is currently being investigated by the Cocoa Police Department.

A school spokesperson issued the following statement:

“Our locker room was broken into this past weekend. The majority of our sideline game equipment was stolen.”

Despite the incident, Cocoa High School mentions that even as unfortunate as the situation is, they do plan to overcome the tough hurdles that the season has brought forth given the struggles COVID-19 has plagued the season

“Adversity continues to be the theme of this season. Our athletes have embodied the ethos of “Champions Adapt” and this is another situation which we will overcome,” said the school spokesperson.
