Free unlimited rides and free shows for gate admission of only $15 Tuesdays through Thursdays or $20 Fridays through Sundays. This year’s free shows include The Wolves of The World Shows, The Monster Trucks Shows, 3 Professional Bull Riding Shows, The Butterfly Encounter, Urias Family Circus and Globe of Death, Magic Mike Shows, The Banana Derby Shows and much more.

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Space Coast State Fair, Brevard’s largest and most popular annual family event, is set for November 6 through 22 at Space Coast Daily Park in Viera.

Guests at the 34th annual Space Coast State Fair in Viera will go bananas over the fair’s latest attraction – the Banana Derby, featuring Capuchin monkeys, in tiny jockey outfits, racing around the special Banana Derby track, on the backs of loveable, enthusiastic dogs.

“They’re trained to ride, not bound to the dogs,” said Banana Derby owner, Phil Hendricks. “The monkeys and the hounds love it.”

Gilligan, the Banana Derby owner’s pet monkey, without any intervention, started riding the family dog one day, on his own and that’s how it all got started.

The adorable monkey jockeys, race the dogs around a small track, while a crowd watches from the grandstands. Every day at every show, it draws a crowd of people.

Similar to Disney, each person pays the gate admission fee and when you are inside, all rides, shows and concerts are included at no extra charge.

Gate admission applies to all ages, with the exception of infants under 2-years-old, who are admitted at no charge.

Gate admission gets you an all-day wristband, so you can leave the fair and come back during that same day, as many times as you want, at no extra charge.

The fair will be open, rain or shine, unless the weather makes it unsafe. If the rides are closed due to bad weather, they will be reopened as soon as it is safe. There are no refunds or rain checks for any reason.

FAQ

• Does everyone have to buy a gate ticket? Yes – except infants under 2, who are too small to ride.

• What if I don’t want to ride? If you don’t want to ride there are plenty of free shows inside the fair to enjoy.

• Are dogs allowed? Dogs are allowed if they are trained and on a leash. Please always clean up after your pets.

• Can I bring food? No outside food or beverages may be brought in to the fair.

• What about weapons? No weapons may be brought into the fair. All persons and bags are subject to search at any time.

• How much is parking? Parking is $5 per car.

Express Access Pass

Avoid waiting in lines with the Midway Express Access Pass. The bearer is entitled to enter the “fast pass” lanes and avoid the lines for a $10 additional charge.

Space Coast State Fair ride enthusiasts will have an opportunity for some VIP treatment this year at the fair with the all-new Express Access Pass from Big Rock Amusements.

The pass offers customers the chance to get on any carnival ride without waiting in a long line. It works with our wristbands and can be purchased any day at the entrance gate or on the midway and is good for one full day.

In order to ensure pass holders receive and perceive an extraordinary value, there will be a limited quantity of the passes available each day.
