BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police Department has selected Training Coordinator Priscilla Carrera as the September Employee of the Month for the Support Services Division.

Carrera worked on two very important projects simultaneously and not only completed both within the 2019-2020 budget year but also managed to negotiate better contracts on both vendors.

“In addition to Priscilla’s dedication to the Melbourne Police department, she is just a pleasure to work with. Well done Priscilla, you deserve it,” said Melbourne Police Department officials.

Police training coordinators to ensure all personnel are well-trained on departmental procedures.

Job duties involve everything from scheduling training sessions to maintaining documentation of who attends Peace Officer Standards Training (POST) classes.
