Melbourne Police have responded to a crash that has seriously injured multiple individuals near Sarno Rd. at Alexia St. in Melbourne.

UPDATE: Sarno Road has reopened to normal traffic flow, according to police.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police have responded to a crash that has seriously injured multiple individuals near Sarno Rd. at Alexia St. in Melbourne.

The result of the crash has forced officials to shut down all westbound lanes on Sarno Rd.

Traffic has been detoured north on Croton Rd.

Motorists are being urged to find an alternate to avoid further delays.

The crash was first reported around 4:30 p.m.
