BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Working from home has been a challenge for many, but for the artists at the Studios of Cocoa Beach, it has been a rewarding experiment. Staying close to home meant more time to be creative.
Now the incredible talents of member artists take center stage as the studios present its fourth annual Members Show, “Therefore I Create IV.”
This nonprofit gallery is home to 35 local artists presenting paintings, photography, pottery, jewelry, fiber art and more.
Beverly Morgan was awarded first place for her painting “Hanging Out to Dry,” as the second-place winner was Tiffany Allen, with third-place awarded to Samantha Reid.
The show was judged by Cocoa Beach Mayor Ben Malik with awards sponsored by Sterling Photo and The Art Shop. The People’s Choice award went to Delia Swenson.
You can view the show at Studios of Cocoa Beach, located at 165 Minuteman Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach until January 10.
When you visit, be sure to check out the window where one of a kind, empty picture frames are displayed. “We’ve Been Framed” is a collection of unique frames designed and created by Studios’ artists.
The Studio is open Wednesday thru Saturday and for more information log on to StudiosofCocoaBeach.org.
