Tropical Storm Warning Now Effect for Brevard County, Heavy Rain and Windy Conditions Expected

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Brevard County and heavy rain and windy condition will be the main impacts as storms Monday could produce heavy rainfall.

Temperatures will be around 80 with an east wind of 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 55 mph. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

■ Monday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 77. Windy, with an east southeast wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. The chance of precipitation is 60%.

■ Tuesday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Partly sunny, with a high near 84. Windy, with an east southeast wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. The chance of precipitation is 60%.
