BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Herbert ‘Rip’ Dyal visited the Space Coast Daily TV Studios recently to discuss his candidacy for Cocoa City Council District 3.

Rip is married to his wife, Marsha, for 36 years, where they have raised their daughter, Rachel.

Dyal describes himself as an active member of the community he hopes to serve. Since 2005, Dyal has volunteered for the City of Cocoa, serving as a VCOP (coordinator) and chairman of the Board of Adjustments.

Having a diverse work background, Dyal has also worked local jobs as a bricklayer, beekeeper, and salvage yard owner.

He has also proudly served in the U. S. Air Force as a security guard.

As a proud Cocoa High School graduate (class of 1980), Dyal is also a lifetime member of the VFW and Moose Lodge.

Dyal’s accomplishments include receiving the City’s Volunteer of the Year award (2018) and VCOP of the year (2019).

“I love this city, its people and hope you give me the honor of serving as your District 3 Councilman,” said Dyal, speaking to the citizens of Cocoa.
