2020 Palm Bay Drive-Thru Holiday Light Parade Winners Announced

BCSO takes first place in Best Display category

JD Tree Services’ entry for the 2020 Palm Bay Drive-Thru Holiday Light Parade, held on Saturday, December 5 inside Fred Poppe Regional Park in Palm Bay. There were over 30 different entries in the parade this year and 1,300 vehicles passed through the event. BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The 2020 Palm Bay Drive-Thru Holiday Light Parade was held December 5 inside Fred Poppe Regional Park in Palm Bay.

There were more than 30 different entries in the parade this year and 1,300 vehicles passed through the event. The public was asked to vote online for their favorite parade entries and the voting has been tabulated.

The winner in the Best Display category, with 20 percent of the votes, was the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

The winner for Best Standing Group was the Bayside High School Cheerleaders, receiving 46 percent of the vote.

The Best Motorized Vehicle Group winner was the Space Coast Jeep Club. They received 78 percent of the votes.

Finally, tied with 17 percent of the vote, the winners for Best Representation of the Parade Theme: Light Up Palm Bay were the Pineapple Cove Cheer & Dance Team and the Space Coast Jeep Club.

Palm Bay Parks & Recreation representatives will contact all winners to schedule the presentation of their awards.
