BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Saturday afternoon members of Brevard County Sheriff’s Office partnered with the Viera Walmart store held their annual “Shop With A Cop” event.

This year helped over 275 kids have a great Christmas morning, otherwise, they might not have a gift to open on Christmas Day.

During the “Shop With A Cop” event, each child was paired with a Brevard County Deputy Sheriff or Corrections Deputy who walked with them through the store to help them pick out the various items on their Christmas Wish List.

The event that is funded through donations made to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Charity by various businesses and citizens, not only helps others to have an incredible Christmas but also works to build positive relationships between BCSO and the community. (BCSO image)

The event that is funded through donations made to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Charity by various businesses and citizens, not only helps others to have an incredible Christmas but also works to build positive relationships between BCSO and the community.

During the event, our Deputies and many other members of our agency volunteer their time to shop with the kids, wrap gifts, and even offer refreshments.

I truly can’t thank our BCSO Team and community enough for their incredible support of this event each year! I also want to extend a special thank you to our partners at Walmart in Viera that worked so closely with us to make this event so special.
