Drive-By Shooting in Titusville Injures Three Juveniles Sunday Night, Police Looking For Suspects

Titusville Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that injured juveniles Sunday night near 1000 block of 3rd Ave. in Titusville

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that injured juveniles Sunday night near 1000 block of 3rd Ave. in Titusville

According to the investigation, police received a report around 10:30 p.m. people traveling driving in an unknown vehicle fired several rounds of bullets.

When police officers arrived, they secured the scene and found a teen with a gunshot wound.

During that same time, a local hospital also notified police of two teens admitted with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, which were possibly connected to the shooting incident.

The preliminary investigation revealed two of the victims were inside a vehicle and one victim was outside of the vehicle parked on 3rd Avenue.

“The suspects were described by witnesses as three black males, who fired dozens of gun shots from an unidentified vehicle along the length of 3rd Avenue striking the victims, other vehicles and residences,” said a spokesperson with the Titusville Police Department.

After the shooting incident, the vehicle fled the scene immediately and police are still looking for the suspects.

The victim found on scene was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threating injuries.

There have been no other reported injuries at this time.
